Employers can accept job seeker referrals by activating rewards associated with each job post. This can be done when posting a job. The employer needs to check the box and select which reward to associate with the job post.

When an employer has associate a reward with a job post, you will be able to generate a unique link from the job post itself (under the job posters details). Simply generate the URL and share this with candidates you would like to refer. Please ensure that the job seeker applies through the URL link you have provided, as this will be used to track & validate your referral.

Job seekers who are referred will appear with a ‘people’ sign in the employers applicant inbox. This is used to differentiate referred candidates from direct candidates.

Employers can check who referred the job seeker from the job seeker’s profile page, or by hovering over the ‘people’ sign in the employer’s applicant inbox.

Both job seekers and employers can track how their referral is progressing in the process. Just click ‘referrals’ from the drop-down list that appears after clicking your name in the top right-hand corner. Progress will show as applied, shortlisted, rejected, interview, offer or hired.

You will receive the reward directly from the employer. Your contact details should be visible on your profile, such as contact number & email address, so that it’s easy for the employer to contact you when your reward is ready.

The reward is only applicable if the job seeker you referred was hired and started in the role you recommended him/her for. The employer has 90 days from the candidates start-date to process the reward.

No you do not. The job seeker must be have been successful in the interview process and must have been hired in order to claim a reward for the referral.

Rewards will only be offered to referrals for job seekers who are hired within 6 months of the date of referring the job seeker. If a job seeker has been referred to you and you have engaged with that job seeker 6 months prior to the referral date, then a reward will not be eligible for the referral. However, if your interaction was beyond 6 months of the referral date, then a reward will apply. In the case the job seeker is known to you, we may ask for proof in the form of an email, message, text, documents or any other content that could prove useful. Rewards are non-refundable. If the job seeker was hired and started in their job, then the referral is valid and must be rewarded accordingly.

Candidates can only be referred for job roles that accept referrals. This is used to help track & validate your job referrals.
